Samsung extends One UI 8 update to Galaxy M15 5G and Galaxy M53

Samsung is on a roll today. After releasing the One UI 8 update to five mid-range phones in the morning, it has released the update to the variants of the Galaxy M15 5G and the Galaxy M53. These phones are called the Galaxy Wide 7 and the Galaxy Quantum 3 in South Korea.Galaxy Wide 7 (M15 5G) and Galaxy Quantum 3 (M53) get One UI 8 updateThe Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update is now rolling out to the Galaxy Wide 7 and the Galaxy Quantum 3 in South Korea. The update for the Galaxy Wide 7 bears firmware version ending CYI6, while the update for the Galaxy Quantum 3 comes with firmware version ending GYI4. Both updates have download sizes of bigger than 2GB.If you have any of these two phones and live in South Korea, you should check for the software update right away. You can do that by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update is finished downloading, tap the Install now button. Your phone will then restart after a few minutes.Since the One UI 8 update is now available for the Galaxy Wide 7 and the Galaxy Quantum 3 in Korea, the Galaxy M15 5G and the Galaxy M53 5G could get the update in countries outside of South Korea starting next week.What features One UI 8 brings to Galaxy Wide 7 and Galaxy M53?This update brings Android 16 and several new features to the Galaxy Wide 7 and the Galaxy Quantum 3.
