Wait 5 sec.

Last week, Samsung started rolling out the One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update to the XCover series. The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, being the newest and most premium phone in the lineup, should have been the first device in the series to get the update. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Samsung rolled it out first to the Galaxy XCover 7. Well, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro owners won’t have to be disheartened anymore, as the new software for their device is finally here. The One UI 8 update for the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro carries firmware version BYI6. Currently, Samsung is offering it only in its home country, South Korea. Typically, after releasing an update in Korea, the brand starts rolling it out in other regions around the world a few days later. To check if Samsung has made the update available in your region, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. You can check out all the upgrades One UI 8 offers over One UI 7 below.Upgrades that One UI 8 offers over One UI 7In the Calendar app, when you tap on the icon resembling the plus symbol, you will no longer see Event and Reminder options.
