From classic coasters like Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to iconic dark rides like Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean, there’s practically no end to the list of fun rides guests can enjoy during their Disney vacation. However, spotting fan-favorite characters can also be a highlight of a trip to places like Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, as both feature some of Disney’s most beloved characters. The same goes for Disney’s international theme parks, where characters like Sleeping Beauty, Buzz Lightyear, and Spider-Man can be seen roaming the parks.Characters can also be seen in more symbolic form thanks to a number of statues and installations around the parks, though one area in particular has seen some disappointing changes recently.DLP Report recently revealed that Hei Hei and Pua, characters from Disney’s Moana franchise, have been removed after Hei Hei was “ripped out” of his spot by guests. In Adventureland, Hei Hei and Pua were removed after Hei Hei was ripped out by guests. Similar instances of guests tearing up theme park property pop up on social media from time to time, with one of the more egregious examples happening inside Disneyland’s Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.Like the rest of the Disney theme parks around the world, Disneyland Paris is undergoing some significant changes of its own. Travelers are looking forward to the grand opening of World of Frozen next year, which will bring with it a host of new attractions and locations to explore. The massive new expansion is set to debut in Spring 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Disneyland Paris as a whole. Next year, Walt Disney Studios, one of two theme parks found at Disneyland Paris, will get a new name: Disney Adventure World.Walt Disney Studios was intended to feel similar to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, and originally featured a number of movie-themed attractions and experiences. Both parks featured their own versions of rides like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, though the parks differed in many ways too.Walt Disney Studios has often been criticized for its relatively short list of things to do, something World of Frozen seeks to fix. However, the park isn’t just getting a new Anna and Elsa-themed makeover, as it will eventually also feature a new thrill ride inspired by The Lion King.Announced last year during The Walt Disney Company’s D23 event, Disneyland Paris’ new Lion King attraction takes inspiration from Disney’s classic water log flume rides and builds on this idea. Concept art shows an attraction that looks very similar to Splash Mountain, now Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, though Disneyland Paris’ ride is set to be much larger.Have you been to Disneyland Paris? The post NEW: Disney Removes Characters After Guests Wreak Havoc Inside Theme Park appeared first on Inside the Magic.
