The Indianapolis Colts shot themselves in the foot twice in a disastrous pre-game warmup.Sitting pretty at 4-1, the good times are rolling in Indy as Daniel Jones puts in an MVP-worthy start to the campaign.GettyAnthony Richardson cannot stay healthy[/caption]But heading into Sunday’s clash with the Arizona Cardinals, two bizarre setbacks damaged their preparations.First, news broke that backup quarterback Anthony Richardson was out with Riley Leonard stepping in as Jones’ No. 2.As reporters scrambled to get to the bottom of it, rumors that Richardson was a trade candidate began to emerge.It was later revealed that the first-round pick suffered an eye injury after a resistance band snapped and hit him in the eye, per Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer.To add injury to injury, cornerback Charvarius Ward was then ruled out with a concussion.While working on coverage drills, he ran into tight end Drew Ogletree on the sideline and hit the turf hard.Fox Sports cameras picked up Ward sitting on the field being tended to by medics before being ruled out.Daniel Jones gets MVP nodThankfully for the Colts, Jones kept up his momentum with an early touchdown to standout rookie tight end Tyler Warren.Ahead of the game, CBS Sports analyst J.J. Watt tipped the man they call Danny Dimes as a shock MVP candidate alongside Baker Mayfield.“Jones is doing something incredible in Indianapolis.
