Good for you. Now can you try putting yourself in someone else’s shoes for a second? There are people out there working multiple jobs just to barely scrape by and get basic necessities for their families. Can you seriously not picture how hard it would be to have to tell your kid you can’t afford to buy them a simple toy for the holidays? Can you not understand why someone would think lying is easier in that situation? That’s a really hard spot to be in and it seems really messed up to call someone a shitty parent for doing it.
