Two men, 49-year-old Brian Manoharlall and 32-year-old Asham Sultan, died on Tuesday following a tragic accident along the Soesdyke-Linden Highway.Police headquarters said Manoharlall, a resident of Agricola, East Bank Demerara, had been on the roadway attending to motor lorry GAG 3120 at around 15:15 hrs Tuesday. The vehicle was parked on the eastern side of the road due to mechanical issues.Just before the accident, Sultan, a resident of Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo, was driving motor car PRR 5367 south along the eastern drive lane, allegedly at a fast rate. Police said the man lost control of the vehicle, collided with Manoharlall, who was standing at the rear of the lorry, before crashing into the rear of the lorry itself.Both drivers received injuries about their bodies and were pronounced dead at the scene by a doctor on duty from the Linden Hospital Complex.Their bodies were escorted to the Linden Hospital Mortuary where they await post-mortem examinations.Investigations are continuing.The post Two men die in Soesdyke-Linden Highway accident appeared first on News Room Guyana.
