You don’t even know that she is on welfare, you are just assuming. And how is using welfare benefits that are available “taking advantage” of the system? Would you prefer the elderly, disabled and children just die rather than help them? Not everyone has the same starting line when they are born. Think about how being from a 2 income family, or from a certain race, or from a certain area, or having family and friends with connections can help someone get ahead. Not everyone is afforded the same opportunities. Also, not everyone can be middle or upper class, there are always going to be people who need help. I find people that are angry about people on welfare are usually jealous because they’ve gotten denied themselves. They are also the people who cry about money being sent to other countries and say we should help people in our own country. So here we are, trying to help people in our own country and people still complain.
