Artificial Intelligence (AI) has historically played a crucial role across various sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, finance and transportation. The recent advances in new computing technologies are continuously breaking boundaries, leading to the daily emergence of novel ideas, applications and possibilities, said Prof. Hazlina Binti Hamdan from University Putra Malaysia at the international conference on “Algorithms in Advanced Artificial Intelligence” (ICAAAI-2025) on Thursday. She urged utilising AI to benefit society.The conference was organised by the Computer Science Engineering Department of SRKR Engineering College.Prof. M.V Panduranga Rao from IIT Hyderabad said that quantum technologies will make computerisation extremely fast and efficient. He said quantum tech works very well in practical applications such as drug design, machine learning finance and logistics.Head of the Department of Computer Science Engineering B.H.V.S. Ramakrishnam Raju explained that the conference was organised to help young researchers study latest developments in AI and Quantum Technologies.Convener of the conference R.N.V.
