It ought to be obvious, but maybe to some it isn't: The goal is to destroy all but streaming forms of long-form entertainment (movies.)The problems with such vertical integrations ought to be obvious and flat-out prohibited in the general sense (it IS illegal to attempt to monopolize or restrain trade), whether you build them or buy them. But, quite-clearly, nobody cares about this sort of thing these days and the view of such over the last few decades, no matter the area of business or the amount of concentration, is that mergers and monopolization is fine.You can find it everywhere even though 15 USC Chapter 1 says its not.The destruction of competitive pressure and the result has long been visible in the movie industry.
