Well, the FCC has certified devices with these model numbers, and according to the certification documents, they feature the SM8850 chipset, which is the model number for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (via TheTechOutlook). Going by Samsung’s model number and naming convention for smartphones, the SM-S948B could be the international version of the phone, and the SM-S948U could be the carrier-locked variant of the device for the US. Considering that and the latest leak, Samsung will offer the Galaxy S26 Ultra with Qualcomm’s chipset globally.As for the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+, a previous report about these devices claims that Samsung will offer them with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in all regions around the world, except for one, South Korea.
