The PENUP app got One UI 8 compatibility just three months ago.Samsung updates many of its apps ahead of major One UI rollouts to ensure compatibility with the new software, but this case is different: we were only able to see the update because we're running a leaked beta build of One UI 8.5. It's not available on previous versions of One UI yet. This isn't the first app to get an update on One UI 8.5, but it does appear to be the first time the One UI version has been mentioned in the changelog. The One UI 8.5 beta program is expected to include the Galaxy S25 series and launch in the US, UK, Korea, and Germany in the first phase, followed by a release in India and Poland in the second phase.
