A 19-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her uncle at her home in Bapuji Nagar, Warasiguda, on Monday morning while her mother and sister were inside the house.The victim completed intermediate course and was preparing to enrol for graduation. Her uncle, Uma Shankar, 25, who works and lives in Jawaharnagar, is absconding.According to Warasiguda Sub Inspector T. Sudhakar, the two were expected to get married during Sankranti next year. “Last week, Uma Shankar had asked her not to accompany her family to a temple in Vijayawada, but she travelled with them and returned on Sunday,” said the officer.Shankar confronted her on Monday morning about the trip.
