A man allegedly killed a 28-year-old woman, his ‘live-in partner’, suspecting her fidelity in Bhainsa town of Nirmal district on Monday.The accused, identified as Nagesh, a salesman at a two-wheeler showroom, allegedly attacked his ‘live-in partner’ with a knife and killed her by slitting her throat at a tea stall run by the latter in the town on Monday morning.The deceased hailed from Kumsara village in the same mandal.According to sources, she had been living separately from her husband for the past few months.The Bhainsa police have registered a case and launched a detailed investigation to determine the exact motive behind the murder.Published - December 08, 2025 07:59 pm IST
