The first beta version of One UI 8.5 was released yesterday for the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung announced several new and improved features that are part of the new version of One UI. However, there are still some things that the company hasn't revealed yet and could be a part of the stable version of One UI 8.5. One such feature is an AI assistant for the Galaxy Store.Digging through the code of One UI 8.5, we discovered that Samsung is planning to bring an AI assistant to the Galaxy Store and the Theme Store. It will help you find the apps, games, and themes that you are looking for even if you don't know their names. The AI-powered search functionality will likely let you find things through descriptive sentences and natural language. As you can see in the screenshot above, when you tap the search icon in the Galaxy Store, a search box appears at the bottom of the screen. It has text with colorful hues and resembles the AI-powered search that Samsung introduced in One UI 8.0's Settings app earlier this year on the Galaxy S25 series. This feature isn't available in the current beta version of One UI 8.5 yet, and Samsung could bring it with future beta builds of One UI 8.5. However, we can't say for sure if that will definitely happen. It is also possible that Samsung is saving this feature for the Galaxy S26 series. The post Samsung’s Galaxy Store could also get an AI assistant soon appeared first on SamMobile.
