Season two of the six-a-side football tournament, Baller League, is underway, with twelve teams made up of former footballers, influencers and futsal players vying for glory. The competition takes place over twelve weeks at the Copper Box in London, with the top four teams at the end advancing to the playoffs held at the O2 Arena. The inaugural UK edition, which follows the format devised by ex-pros Lukas Podolski and Mats Hummels over in Germany, was won earlier in the year by SDS FC who defeated MVPs United 4-3 in the final. It proved hugely popular, with millions tuning in live on streaming platforms and Sky Sports. There are also plenty of famous faces in the dugouts, with the worlds of football, TV and YouTube colliding. This time around, actor Idris Elba, presenter Maya Jama and current England Lioness Chloe Kelly will be among those on the touchline. The league expanded to these shores when KSI was brought in as the UK version’s president, and it will soon reach the US too with Ronaldinho and record-holding sprinter Usain Bolt among the first team managers to be named recently. We may have had the first three matchdays already, but there is a long way to go on the road to the O2. The UK’s biggest bookmakers are offering odds throughout the tournament, so punters have plenty of time to weigh up who they think will go all the way.Latest Baller League winner oddsFind the latest Baller League winner odds courtesy of bet365. Baller League formatThe Baller League is an exciting, indoor football league. It follows a six-a-side format and is similar to Masters Football, which was a popular league in the UK for many years. There are 12 teams in the league, each made up of fifteen players – who are a mix of former pros, futsal players, celebrities and influencers. These teams will play each other once – a total of eleven games. The top four teams after this will enter the playoffs. The team that finishes first, and the teams finishing second and third, will meet in the semi-finals.Each game is 30 minutes long, split into two 15-minute halves. Baller matches have unique rules, with no corners being given. Instead, a penalty is awarded if a team puts the ball out at their end three times. There are also “game changers” and “Baller League minutes” which kick in after 12 and 27 minutes. Game changers include the offside rule being scrapped for a short period, or the teams being reduced to 3v3. Baller League minutes may involve long-range goals counting double, or a “1on1” game where players aim to score from the centre circle – or inside their own half.Baller League scheduleThe Baller League kicked off on 27th October and will conclude on 5th January with the dates of the playoffs to be confirmed.Sky Sports will be showing the action live every Monday night.Baller League Season 2 teamsBaller League Season 2 sees several big-name managers return to try and lead their teams to the O2 Arena showpiece, and there are several familiar faces on the pitch too.26ersManager: John TerryTeam: J’Ardell Stirling, Bilal Sayoud, Kojo Apenteng, Emmanuel Robe, Ebenezer Addo-Kufuor, Connor Wood, Pharell Rose-Mensah, David Oupoh, Serine Sanneh, Nabell Ghannam, Eligijus Dapkus, Sam MeiselClutch FCManager: Chloe KellyTeam: Albie Sheehan, Evans Kouassi, Destiny Ojo, Michael Hill, Addison Garnett, Eddie Allsopp, Ethan Oke, David Solademi, Erick Kenko, Keir Dickson, Dillon Barnes, Jordan Lazenbury, Steven KodraDeportrioManagers: Micha Richards & Daniel SturridgeTeam: Francis Gerard Mampolo, Richard Afrane-Kesey, Adam Dawson, Marvin Sordell, Kevin Gonzalez, Josh Harrop, Kevin Quintero, Zach Fagan, Alex Dyer, Henri Lansbury, Joleon Lescott, Jack McConnell, Daniel Atherton, Stephen Ireland, Oumar NiasseM7 FCManager: MiniminterTeam: Toby Bull, Stefan Ilic, Zion Nditi, Sam Fitzgerald, Zaid Al Hussaini, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Femi Akinwande, Mohammed Mahyoub, Jordan Thompson, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Bayli Spencer-Adams, Joshua Abbott, Adrian TajikMVPs UnitedManagers: Maya Jama & Alisha LehmannTeam: Montel McKenzie, Timmy Abraham, Nathan Okome, Tommy Scott, Josh Rusoke, Jake Chambers Shaw, James Caton, Daniel Wood, Vani Da Silva, Lorenzo Kevin Spinelli, Bráulio Valera Pinto Maieco, Tyrone Marsh, Robbie Burton, Niklas ReichelN5 FCManagers: Jens Lehmann, Robert Pires & Eman SV2Team: Martyn Waghorn, Jack Young, Declan McCarthy, George Nikaj, Angus MacDonald, Jean-Baptiste Fischer, Chris Arthur, Ross Derham, Hani Berchiche, Nile Ranger, Nathan Holland, Kieron FreemanNDL FCManager: Niko OmilanaTeam: Ciaran Clark, Amine Sassi, Tyler Winters, Isaac Modi, Amin Belaid, Dominic Vose, Aaron Steavens, Jordan Antonio Brown, Ruben Junior, Kamel Sassi, Liridon Krasniqi, Amadou Kassaraté, Ian PrescottRukkas FCManager: Idris ElbaTeam: Mussa Bham, Casey Shann, Ergys Pepaj, Jezreel Davies, Taufee Skandari, Toby Aromolaran, Bruno Andrade, Michael Hector, Seth Locke, Dara Dada, Luqman Kassim, Brandon Barker, Jevani BrownSDS FCManager: SharkyTeam: Mauro Vilhete, Kazaiah Sterling, David Marques Castanho, Camilo Restrepo, Alfie Matthews, Hafed Al Droubi, Calvin Dickson, Finlay Chadwick, Ody Alfa, Michael Folivi, Youssef Chentouf, Nya Kirby, Tarik Gidaree, George MooreVZN FCManager: Tobi BrownTeam: Yasin Ben El-Mhanni, Florian Kastrati, Scott Kashket, Hamza Semakula, Ola Ogunwamide, Kurtis Cumberbatch, Michael Onovwigun, Luka Marušić, Eric De Melo, Daniel Bowry, Joshua Parker, Melvin Minter, Ayyuba JambangWembley Rangers AFCManagers: Ian Wright & Alan ShearerTeam: Chiekh Thiam, George Isaac, Domingos Pires, Jack Connors, Callum Gardner, Danny Bassett, Sandro Camara, Ben Long, Dominic Morgan Griffiths, Ismet Sumbul, Charles Konadu-Yiadom, Alfie Mansell, Ibrahim UgradarYanitedManager: Angry GingeTeam: Bryan Ly, John Bostock, Jesse Waller-Lassen, Remy Clerima, Pique Humble, Calum Butcher, Max Pitman, Medy Elito, Harry Cain, Kai McKenzie-Lyle, Kadell Daniel, Ahoora Heydari, Abdulahi AbdulazeezWhere to watch Baller League Season 2The Baller League is broadcast live on Sky Sports Mix every Monday night.
