Anupam Kher is the latest actor to congratulate Dhurandhar cast and share his review. He shared a video message where he called the film Dhurandhar a “triumph for Indian cinema”.In the video, the veteran actor shared, “I don’t know whether I should say this… I told Aditya on the phone, ‘Mata chadh gayi hai kya? Itni kamaal ki film banaayi hai!’ Toh bahut hase woh. Sometimes it’s a very proud feeling when somebody makes a film like this. Ranveer Singh is very good in the film. He’s carried that quietness so well.”Also read | Hrithik Roshan ‘disagrees with the politics’ of Dhurandhar, talks about filmmakers’ responsibilities but applauds the film: ‘Amazing’Sharing the clip, Anupam Kher wrote, “BHARAT KI FILM:❤️ I watched #Dhurandhar on Monday night and immediately recorded this video. Didn’t post it because our film #TanviTheGreat had won two international awards (Best Actress and Best Screenplay❤️) the same night so wanted to enjoy sharing that news with you all first. But here is my exciting, sometimes slow, at places trying to find right words to express the BRILLIANCE of the film video ! People I missed to mention are my friends #RakeshBedi and #ArjunRampal. Both are excellent! Thank you dearest #AdityaDhar for this जांबाज़, बेख़ौफ़, दिलदार and धुरंधर फ़िल्म! This film is also a #TRIUMPH for Indian cinema! A story about UNKNOWN and FACELESS INDIANS who are constantly risking their lives for us! Jai Ho! Jai Hind! @AdityaDharFilms @RanveerOfficial @duttsanjay @ActorMadhavan #AkshayeKhanna @therakeshbedi.”Anupam Kher lauded the film for its powerful storytelling, its depiction of unsung heroes, who war the “faceless Indians who risk their lives for us”. The actor also pointed out a piece of trivia: the title “Dhurandhar” originally belonged to late actor Satish Kaushik, and he was glad to see this acknowledgment at the film’s beginning.According to Anupam Kher, the dialogues are powerful and the cast’s performances are “fantastic.” He used expressions like “fearless” and “brave, generous and remarkable film” to describe it.See Anupam Kher’s review for Dhurandhar here:BHARAT KI FILM:❤️I watched #Dhurandhar on Monday night and immediately recorded this video. In a note shared via Instagram, Smriti wrote,”“If you have looked into the eyes of the wife of a fallen soldier & walked her to the cremation ground , if you have visited the Jagti camp in Jammu , if you have seen the deserted temple premises of Sharika Devi in Srinagar , if you have met those who were on duty during Parliament attack or have family that survived the 26/11 Mumbai attack then nothing in Dhurandhar should lead you to outrage — after all it’s just a film,” Smriti wrote. She continued, “As a storyteller @adityadharfilms is a craftsperson par excellence , as a research fiend even more so. It’s the quivering face as he pulls the cover off a dead son that makes #akshayekhanna’s performance a lesson in craft & @ranveersingh ‘s piercing eyes that speak when he doesn’t is a must watch for those who aspire to be consistent in their pursuit of a legacy , that @rampal72 can be so menacing is a revelation … & the music OMG.”“When a director’s passion meets the keen eye of a casting director like Mukesh @castingchhabra you can be rest assured the screen will explode. Dhurandhar isn’t just a film — it’s the echo of lives lived and lost; and if cinema can make you feel that weight, maybe you owe it more than outrage,” Smriti shared.Story continues below this adPraising R Madhavan for his performance, Smriti wrote, “Those like me who have had the privilege of being in the vicinity of a legend called Ajit Doval may find it a tad bit weird to watch @actormaddy presumably play a cinematic version of him but then there could have been no better actor who could so calmly hold a storm within.”She concluded by saying, “To the men and women known and unknown who have died defending us and are still in pursuit of justice for the everyday Indian— Dhanyawad ; our Nation holds you in high esteem and is forever in your debt.”See Smriti Irani’s post for Dhurandhar: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Smriti Irani (@smritiiraniofficial) Earlier Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Ayushmann Khurrana among others too shared their take on this film.Click here to follow Screen Digital on YouTube and stay updated with the latest from the world of cinema.© IE Online Media Services Pvt Ltd
