Baroda wicketkeeper batter Amit Pasi equalled the record for the highest score made by a T20 debutant, making 114 off 55 balls in the 2025-26 Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 trophy match against Services at the Gymkhana Ground in Hyderabad on Monday.He made the same score as Pakistan’s Bilal Asif, who ransacked 114 off 48 balls for Sialkot Stallions against Abbottabad Falcons in a Super8 T20 Cup match in Faisalabad in 2015.Opening the batting with Shashwat Rawat, Pasi raced to his half-century in 24 balls and his hundred in 44 balls.Pasi hit 10 fours and nine sixes in his innings.
