Justice N.V. Shravan Kumar of the Telangana High Court on Thursday suspended a memo issued by the Chief Secretary the previous day permitting the hike in tickets for Telugu movie Akhanda-2 .The judge passed the order in a batch of three writ petitions questioning the decision of the State government to permit rise in the ticket price for the movie to be released on Friday. The judge instructed the CS to communicate the order of the HC to all persons concerned.The bench also directed the authorities to ensure that tickets are not sold at the hiked prices.Published - December 11, 2025 09:38 pm IST
