Uganda Waragi, Uganda’s iconic spirit brand, yesterday kicked off its “SO UG SO 60” campaign — a celebration marking 60 years of the brand’s presence on the Ugandan market. The new campaign seeks to honor Ugandans who have made an impact in their communities through service, creativity, and resilience. The celebrations began with a vibrant activation that saw a swarm of boda bodas set off from Motiv in Bugolobi, riding through Yusuf Lule Road to Wandegeya and later Nakawa Market. Along the way, the team surprised everyday heroes with thoughtful gifts in appreciation of their contributions to society.Among those recognized were Sula Birungo, who has fed countless Ugandans who enjoy the brand’s products despite not being a drinker himself, JIBS, a popular chapati maker in Wandegeya, SASS and Class Salon, a local taxi driver, VJ Junior, the celebrated movie translator, and several vendors in Nakawa Market. The day’s activities concluded at Nakawa Market, where the team enjoyed lunch after gifting traders and celebrating the spirit of togetherness that Uganda Waragi continues to champion. The “SO UG SO 60” campaign will continue to roll out across the country, spotlighting more Ugandans whose daily hustle and service embody the spirit that has defined Uganda Waragi for six decades. The post Uganda Waragi Launches “SO UG SO 60” Campaign to Celebrate 60 Years of The Spirit of Uganda (Pictorial) appeared first on MBU.
