IT IS SO ORDERED.”Excerpt from ABC News:The federal judge overseeing former FBI Director James Comey’s legal challenge to the appointment of Lindsey Halligan as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia has ordered prosecutors to hand over a full transcript of Halligan’s presentation to the grand jury that voted to indict Comey. Judge Cameron Currie, who was appointed outside of the district to review the validity of Halligan’s appointment, said in an order Tuesday that a transcript handed over by prosecutors “fails to include remarks made by the indictment signer both before and after the testimony of the sole witness, which remarks were referenced by the indictment signer during the witness’s testimony.” Judge Currie, in her order, said prosecutors did not hand over any records or transcripts showing Halligan’s remarks during her presentment in which the grand jury returned indictments on two of three counts sought by Halligan but declined to indict Comey on one count of making false statements to Congress. US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Monday gave US Attorney Lindsey Halligan a new title as James Comey and Letitia James challenge her appointment.Comey is attacking the federal criminal case, citing “vindictive prosecution” and challenging Lindsey Halligan’s appointment.Pam Bondi jumped into action and retroactively gave Lindsey Halligan a new position of “special attorney” in response to Comey’s effort to remove Halligan. As a “special attorney,” Halligan has the authority to conduct legal proceedings before judges and magistrates.“As Special Attorney, Ms. Halligan has authority to conduct, in the Eastern District of Virginia, any kind of legal proceeding, civil or criminal, including grand jury proceedings and proceedings before United States Magistrates and Judges,” Bondi wrote.Bondi specifically designated Halligan authority to handle the cases against Comey and James.Judge Currie will hold a hearing next Thursday on Comey’s challenge to Lindsey Halligan’s appointment. The post Clinton Judge Orders DOJ to Turn Over Lindsey Halligan Transcripts appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
