As the latest offering in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, Thamma stood firm last week, surpassing Munjya’s lifetime collection of Rs 101.6 crores. While the Ayushmann Khurrana film trails behind Stree 2, it also seems to have surpassed Saiyaara’s second-week collection at the box office.According to the data from Sacnilk, Saiyaara had earned Rs 107.75 crores by its second week, on its second Tuesday, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Thamma has raked in a total of Rs 123.80 crores net in India. On its 15th day, the film saw a spike in its collection and earned Rs 2 crores on its second Tuesday. Thamma has emerged to be Ayushmann Khurrana’s third-highest all-time grosser after Dream Girl and Badhaai Ho. Thamma has emerged as Rashmika Mandanna’s fourth-highest all-time grosser and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s first-highest all-time grosser. On Tuesday, the overall Hindi occupancy was 22.26 percent with a total of 1910 shows running all over India. The film saw its highest occupancy of 38 percent in Chennai, where it had five shows running. Jaipur also saw an impressive turnout of 29.25 percent with 86 shows.
