Now, True Sound Live Ltd, the organisers of the event, have issued an official statement addressing the criticism and shifting the blame toward the actress’s personal management team.In a statement released on Wednesday, the company clarified: “We at True Sound Live Ltd. would like to clarify the facts regarding the recent Madhuri Dixit – The Golden Girl of Bollywood show held in Toronto, following misleading social media commentary. The event commenced on time with a high-energy opening act featuring exceptional singers from Indian Idol, exactly as scheduled.”The organisers further explained that the event format — shared with Madhuri Dixit’s management in advance — included a Q&A session at 8:30 pm followed by the actress’s 60-minute performance. However, despite the production team being ready and in communication throughout, the actress’s team allegedly misinformed her about the call time.“Madhuri Dixit’s own management team misinformed her about the call time, resulting in her late arrival around 10 PM. Many complained that the show began hours later than promised, with some describing it as a “complete waste of time and money.”While the organisers have now publicly blamed Madhuri Dixit’s management team for the mishap, the actress and her representatives have not yet issued any response. Following the Toronto leg, Madhuri is scheduled to perform in New Jersey, Boston, Chicago, Houston, and New York as part of her ongoing tour.
