Samsung has provided US schools with more than $29 million in Samsung technology and classroom resources through its Solve for Tomorrow initiative. It's meant to help grade 6-12 classrooms develop science, technology, engineering, and math skills and apply them to real-world issues in their communities.As AI rapidly becomes a tool to empower the next generation, Samsung has joined forces with entrepreneurs Mark Cuban and Emma Grede as the first-ever Solve for Tomorrow ambassadors to deliver AI training and mentorship.Educators understand the importance of AI in their students' futuresGrede and Cuban will work alongside Samsung to highlight the importance of AI for the next generation and how the technology can be a force for good. They'll host an immersive AI bootcamp for students and provide mentorship to demystify AI and help boost confidence around it in both students and educators.The company's research has revealed that 53% of teachers have no formal training on using AI in classrooms. This figure rises to 64% in under-resourced schools, despite an overwhelming belief among educators that AI will be important to their students' futures.In partnership with the Mark Cuban Foundation, Samsung is also providing free AI training resources to teachers across the United States. This will enable them to confidently introduce and apply AI concepts in the classroom.Applications for this year's Solve for Tomorrow competition are being accepted before November 24, 2025.
