BJP State Media Co-convener Velagaleti Gangadhar assumed charge as director of the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (APBWC) at the corporation office in Gollapudi, in the presence of corporation chairman Buchi Ram Prasad, on Sunday.Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gangadhar said that he would work under the guidance of the chairman to promote the welfare and development of Brahmins, particularly priests and ‘purohits’ across the State. He stated that through the corporation’s credit society, educational schemes for Brahmin students, self-employment programmes for youth, and group loans for women will be implemented more effectively to ensure economic empowerment and social stability.Mr. Gangadhar said he would strive to further strengthen and expand the corporation’s welfare activities for the upliftment of poor Brahmins. Expressing gratitude, he thanked BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav, party general secretary (Organisation) Madhukar, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K.
