All flight operations at Nepal's Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu were suspended on Saturday due to a technical malfunction in the runway's lighting system. The issue, detected at 5:30 PM local time, caused at least five flights to be put on hold, delaying all domestic and international arrivals and departures.
