Matchroom CEO Frank Smith has explained his personal ties to the Eubank clan.Smith works alongside Eddie Hearn in promoting Conor Benn, who is currently gearing up for his rematch with Chris Eubank Jr. GettyTheir first clash ended in a unanimous decision victory for Eubank Jr after 12 gruelling rounds[/caption]The pair are set to run it back on November 15, as they return to the scene of their first blockbuster clash.Although Benn’s co-promoter has his own personal ties to Eubank Jr, as Smith is in a long-term relationship with his sister Emily Eubank.During his appearance on talkSPORT Breakfast, Smith was asked by host Gabby Agbonlahor if his job affects his private life.He explained: “I’ve been with [Emily] for coming up to 10 years, she doesn’t get involved in that side of things.“She’s not interested really in the interviews and all of that mess.“I always say I pushed for this fight to happen, time and time again, the Eubank-Benn fight.“It’s the biggest fight with both guys.“Ultimately, my view has absolutely zero relevance to what happens in the ring.“The best man is going to win, they’re going to get in there.“I’m very close with Conor Benn, I’ve worked with him since he was 18 years old.
