Gospel singer and former Buikwe Woman MP, Judith Babirye, has shared a message about the realities of aging and the lessons that come with it.Now living in Canada, Babirye says turning 40 changes one’s perspective on life, dreams, and priorities. According to her, it’s around that age that people begin to realize time is running out and the ambitions they once had may be slipping away. The moment you clock 40, you start seeing that time is leaving you and your dreams are fast leaving. She added that by the time one reaches 45, regret often sets in, especially for those who lived selflessly without thinking about their own future. When you hit 45, that’s when you begin to regret the bad choices you made in life. For example, people who are kind and selfless, leaving themselves with nothing, time reaches around 45 and you begin to get a calculator and think of the money you should have invested.Judith Babirye’s desire to have 12 childrenBabirye admitted that she too was once overly generous, but age and experience have taught her to give wisely.I used to be that person, but now I safeguard my money. Even when I’m giving, I do it wisely. She went on to narrate a story about a friend who was hurt after being betrayed by people she had helped, saying such experiences are valuable lessons if they happen early enough. There’s a friend of mine who was crying about betrayal from people she had helped, to the point that some even told her they never asked for her help. I advised her to just be grateful that it happened before old age, at least she’s not waking up when it’s too late. @kingmosaad1 Judith Barbirye kumyaaka gyazanyiraamu#kampala_tiktokers ♬ original sound – Kingmosaad The post Singer Judith Babirye shares wisdom on turning 40 appeared first on MBU.
