In the 2025 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Vijay Kumar Choudhary of the JD(U), Sajan Kumar Mishra of the Jan Suraaj Party and others.In the last Assembly elections, the JD(U)’s Vijay Kumar Choudhary won by a margin of 3624 votes. The RJD’s Arbind Kumar Sahni was the runner up securing 69042 votes.Bihar witnessed a voter turnout of 57.3% this year, slightly higher than in 2020.
