A report by the Food Future Foundation and consulting firm Thinking Forks has warned that poor cold storage, weak transport networks, and supply chain gaps are causing large-scale food loss in India before it reaches consumers. The study described the “dual challenge of waste and hunger” as an economic, ethical, and environmental crisis.
