My audience and the club staff had to face acts of violence from protesters outside the venue,” she continued.“While I fully respect freedom of speech and expression, these people know NOTHING about me or what I’m about,” she added. She wrote that she was devastated on behalf of her fans who were harassed simply for wanting to attend her concert.“To all the beautiful souls who showed up, I’m truly sorry you had to go through this. You don’t deserve it. No one does.”According to Erez, this was not an isolated incident. Last year, she noted that anti-Israel activists repeatedly attempted to derail her career because of her nationality. In a social media post, Erez wrote that concert dates and festival appearances outside of Israel were canceled due to due to anti-Israel hostility.“I really wish it was just one case, but the list kind of keeps growing,” Erez wrote on her Instagram account in December 2024.“It’s not for anything that I said, it’s simply because I was born where I was born. I believe that boycotting artists will not bring a solution. I believe that banning songs, movies, plays, books, etc., is not going to fix the world’s problems.”The post ‘Dark, violent threats’ – Israeli singer’s concert targeted in Mexico appeared first on World Israel News.
