The best modular controller for PS5, Xbox, and PC is on sale for a massive discount at Amazon for a limited time. PlayStation gamers can get the Victrix Pro BFG Wireless Controller for a new all-time best price. The standard white edition and the Tekken 8-inspired model are available for $120 (was $200). The Xbox version of the white Pro BFG is also on sale for the same price. The PlayStation and Xbox editions of the Pro BFG are officially licensed and both work wirelessly on PC, too. Amazon doesn't list an end date for these deals, so don't wait too long if interested. The Pro BFG is a highly customizable pro-style controller with interchangeable thumbstick layouts, three different D-pads, and a six-button fight pad. It also has four built-in back buttons, adjustable trigger stops, high-fidelity audio, and comes with a nice hardshell carrying case and braided USB-C cable. With the included tool, you can quickly remove the Pro BFG's faceplates to alter the control layout. The modular design allows you to configure the Pro BFG's thumbsticks to match the PlayStation or Xbox layouts (parallel or offset). It also comes with four thumbstick caps, four stick grates, and three D-pad styles: 8-way, 4-way, and the solid square model shown in the promotional images. The module on the right side can be swapped out for the six-button fight pad.The Pro BFG's trigger locks for R2/L2 or RT/LT have five different stopping points, and the four built-in back buttons can be remapped on the fly. You can also remap inputs and save up to three custom profiles by using the Victrix Control Hub app on PC. You have more control over your experience with the app, but unfortunately it's only available for PC. That said, adjustments save to the controller, so as long as you have a PC, you can still take advantage of features such as tweaking stick and trigger sensitivity, setting up analog stick dead zones, and adjusting the sound profile. The Pro BFG has built-in low-latency audio that gives you in-depth control over your headset audio experience, but keep in mind you'll need to connect your headset to the 3.5mm jack on the bottom of the controller. The controller syncs wirelessly to your PS5/PS4 and PC or Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via 2.4GHz (USB-A dongle). Alternatively, you use the lengthy, braided USB to USB-C cable for a hardwired connection. All of the Pro BFG's accessories have dedicated slots inside the included hardshell carrying case.Victrix Pro BFG white editions for PlayStation and Xbox It's worth mentioning that these discounted editions of the Victrix Pro BFG do not have Hall Effect sticks. I've never had an issue with stick drift, but it's always a possibility. The good thing is the defining feature here is the swappable modules, so you can simply buy replacement modules if you ever have issues. Turtle Beach actually sells Victrix Pro BFG modules with Hall Effect sticks for $40. You get the right and left stick modules for that price. The Pro BFG should have had Hall Effect sticks from the start, but at least the newer Turtle Beach-branded Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded has Hall Effect sticks. Turtle Beach raised the MSRP to $210 for the Reloaded editions. For context, Turtle Beach acquired PDP in 2024, which has led to some accessories being reissued with Turtle Beach branding. The PDP versions of the Victrix Pro BFG likely won't be available for much longer.Turtle Beach Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded -- $210PlayStation Edition (Black)PlayStation Edition (White)Xbox Edition (Black)Xbox Edition (White) More Customizable Wireless Controllers for PS5, Xbox, and PCMicrosoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller Amazon has deals on other pro-style controllers for consoles and PC. Most notably, Microsoft's Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller is on sale for $140 (was $200). The Elite Series 2 is the best customizable controller for Xbox and PC. It isn't fully modular like the Pro BFG, but it does have swappable stick caps, four remappable back paddles, trigger locks, custom profiles, and the best ergonomics and overall feel. Amazon is also offering a discount on the stellar Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Wireless Controller for Xbox and PC. It has six remappable inputs, Hall Effect sticks, and superb microswitch buttons. The Wolverine V3 Pro is on sale for $170 (was $200). The deal is available for the black and white models. Razer also makes a wireless PS5 controller called the Wolverine V2 Pro. It shares some of the same features with the newer V3 Pro, but the ergonomics and back button placements are worse. If you have large hands, though, you may like it. The Wolverine V2 Pro is discounted to $180 (was $250) at Amazon.Another steeply discounted option for PlayStation is the Nacon Revolution 5 Pro for $150 (was $200). The Revolution 5 Pro has a premium build with an adjustable weighting system, four microswitch back paddles, and a unique D-pad made for fighting games. Only the white/black edition is eligible for the $50 discount. It's not on sale, but Xbox players should also check out the gorgeous Rare 40th Anniversary Edition 8BitDo Ultimate 3-Mode Controller. Officially licensed by Microsoft, the $90 controller and charging dock bundle is the first 8BitDo wireless controller for Xbox consoles. It also works wirelessly on PC, Apple, and Android devices. But if you simply need a controller for PC, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 has enhanced components, more customization options, and starts at $60. Plus, Amazon has the new Honkai: Star Rail Collector's Bundle for $63 (was $70). It comes with a charging dock, travel case, and various collectibles.
