Series of Benefits of the Greatness of Allaah’s Characteristics Translated by Abbas Abu Yahya Part 5Tawheed as-Sifaat & Creed Allaah Ta’ala says:قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ لَمۡ یَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ یُولَدۡ وَلَمۡ یَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ 《Say: “He is Allaah, (the) One.” Allaah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks). He begets not, nor was He begotten; And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.”》[Surah Al-Ikhlas: 1-4] Shaykh ul Islaam Ibn al-Qayyim Rahimahullaah said: ‘In the name of Allaah ‘as-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master) is the affirmation of all perfection for Allaah Ta’ala. As for negating a co-equal or comparable unto Him, then this is freeing Allaah from resemblance and an exemplary for Allaah. As for ‘He is Allaah, (the) One’ is negation of every partner possessing magnificence. Therefore, these three principles are the accumulation of Tawheed.’ (166/4) *•┈┈┈•✿❁✿•┈┈┈•*The post Part 5 – Tawheed Sifaat & Creed first appeared on Following the Sunnah.
