ANIChief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said Andhra Pradesh was able to attract investments of $20 billion, providing employment opportunities to 20 lakh youth, over the past 18 months.Delivering the keynote address at the inaugural session of the 30th CII Partnership Summit 2025 held at Andhra University grounds in Visakhapatnam, he also expressed hope that the government would be able to attract $500 billion in three years to provide employment opportunities to 50 lakh youth. Andhra Pradesh is gifted with natural resources and a long coastline, which stands as a gateway for investments in several sectors, he said.Naidu expressed happiness about the participation of over 2,500 trade delegates across the globe, including 522 representing 72 countries. He also invited trade delegates to the CII partnership summit next year, which he said would also be hosted at Visakhapatnam.He said following the suggestion of Union Minister of Commerce Piyush Goyal,he would allot land facing the sea to develop a world-class ITPO convention centre in Visakhapatnam.Naidu said efforts are underway to set up corridors for drones, electronics, aerospace, semiconductors, and defence in Andhra Pradesh.
