You’re not ready for a woman. We got a lot of growing up to do and there’s still…a lot of men who do not feel like they can be led by a woman and we saw it,” Obama told Ross. The former first lady has been among those Democratic leaders who have, for years, fuelled speculations and debate among supporters that she should run for the president but Michelle Obama has every time refused to do it. In 2016, while she was still serving as the first lady, Obama had said, “I will not run for president. No, nope, not going to do it.”Most ReadDuring her campaign rally last year while endorsing Kamala Harris, Obama had cautioned the voters against the threat Trump poses to America, particularly to women’s health.“Please, please do not hand our fates over to the likes of Trump, who knows nothing about us, who has shown deep contempt for us.
