As Kenny the Pirate highlights: “John Stamos will join The Beach Boys at EPCOT on November 16th and 17th.”That announcement alone is enough to tighten the crowds. With first-come, first-served seating and no separate ticket required for the concert, EPCOT will likely feel busier than usual on both days. For guests who want guaranteed seats, the Festival Concert Series Dining Package remains the best bet for reserved viewing. If you’re visiting EPCOT this weekend—and you’ve ever wanted to see the Full House star jam with The Beach Boys in person—this surprise addition might be the perfect way to close out festival season.Credit: DisneyStamos Returns to Disney World With The Beach Boys Years After Resort BanJohn Stamos–Uncle Jesse himself–once ended up banned from one of Walt Disney World’s most iconic hotels: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. The story resurfaced thanks to his memoir “If You Would Have Told Me” (2023), where he finally shared what really happened behind the scenes of the now-famous mishap. It all started during a promotional shoot for The Beach Boys at the Grand Floridian. After filming “Kokomo,” the day shifted into a full-blown after-party complete with a Jacuzzi overflowing with bikini models and plenty of champagne. Stamos says he actually left the party early, but the fun definitely didn’t end when he walked out.Credit: DisneyWhen he later tried to book a room at the Grand Floridian, he kept getting the same curious response: “Sorry, Mr. Stamos, no rooms are available.” It wasn’t until the Full House cast traveled to Walt Disney World to film an episode that he finally learned why. Cast and crew quietly filled him in–the aftermath of that now-infamous Jacuzzi party involved abandoned bikinis and shattered champagne bottles floating in the water.Mortified, Stamos explained that he hadn’t even been present when the mess happened. Thankfully, once he clarified the situation, the hotel staff understood. The ban was officially lifted, and he was told he was welcome back anytime.“Apparently, after the ‘Kokomo’ shoot, while I was on The Beach Boys’ private jet on the way to the next gig, the bikini babes continued partying and not only left their bikinis at the bottom of the Jacuzzi, but also a bunch of broken champagne bottles as well,” the Full House star wrote in his 2023 memoir.Credit: DisneySince then, Stamos has more than made peace with Disney. He’s returned to Walt Disney World many times and continues to share his genuine love of the parks with fans. What began as an embarrassing footnote in his career has now become one of his most memorable and oddly charming Disney stories. How do you feel about John Stamos returning to the parks with The Beach Boys?
