Elden Ring Nightreign’s first big DLC arrives in December

Elden Ring Nightreign is keeping things fresh with downloadable content that will add additional playable characters, bosses, and a new area. The Forsaken Hollows DLC costs $15 and launches on December 4th, but players who purchase or own Elden Ring Nightreign’s deluxe or collector’s editions will receive it for free.Elden Ring Nightreign launched in May, allowing you to team up with friends to wage battles across Limveld as you prepare to face one of the final bosses. With the DLC, you can conquer the Nightlord as two new characters: the magic-focused Scholar, who “gains incredible advantages through battlefield observation,” and the Undertaker, an abbess with stats geared toward strength and faith. A pair of new bosses is coming with the DLC as well, including one called The Dreglord.The Forsaken Hollows also introduces a Shifting Earth condition that opens up The Great Hollow, an area that FromSoftware describes as “strewn with exotic ruins and temples; sacred towers denoting the remains of an ancient people; and crystals that exude a cursed, life-draining miasma.”Since Elden Ring Nightreign’s launch, FromSoftware has rolled out a number of free updates, including a way to play with just one other friend (instead of forcing you to play with two), as well as a more challenging “Deep of Night” mode.The Forsaken Hollows will be available across the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC via Steam when it launches next month, but you can preorder it now.
