Fully Subscribed Gives Tiz The Law A Graded Double In Mother Goose

Klaravich Stable and Chad Brown might be the only ones in New York having a better afternoon than Coolmore America's young stallion Tiz the Law.3-year-old filly Fully Subscribed (Tiz the Law) became the fourth winner on the Saturday card at Aqueduct for the owner/trainer combo, capturing the GII Mother Goose Stakes. Her win came just 60 minutes after another 3-year-old, Tiz Dashing (Tiz the Law) took down the GII Hill Prince Stakes in upset fashion on the grass for Sackatoga Stable.A classy debut winner going seven furlongs on the local course as a 2-year-old last October, Fully Subscribed went to the bench for much of her 3-year-old season, just resurfacing in September to put up two narrow defeats in allowance company including a last-out second over course and distance Sept. 28. That effort, which resulted in a new career-best 88 Beyer Speed Figure, gave the wagering public faith to back her Saturday as the 7-2 favorite.Navigating an outside draw on the short run into the first turn, jockey Dylan Davis guided his filly down closer to the fence once the speed had gone past, tucking in three wide towards the back of the field. Queen Azteca (Sharp Azteca) burst through the lead into the backstretch through an opening quarter in :24.00 with Fully Subscribed making up some ground to be a solo fifth while still wide at the half-mile pole. Drexel Hill (Bolt d'Oro), making her first start since a runner-up effort in the GI Kentucky Oaks, got the first jump on the favorite to the outside but Davis let his filly move with that rival and they field bunched up to be five wide at the quarter pole.Leading a calvary charge as they straightened away, Fully Subscribed had the most to offer through the final eighth, pulling clear to win handily as Drexel Hill put in a nice come-back effort to last for second. Godolphin's Lemon Zest (Nyquist) was just a nose back to fill out the trifecta.Fully Subscribed and Dylan Davis | Susie Raisher“She was a little wide off the first turn from that post, but I thought he [Dylan Davis] did a good job to work his way down the backside a little bit,” said Brown. “There was an early move from another horse in there and he worked his way down and saved a little bit of ground going into the final turn. When he took her out again, and it was just him and Drexel Hill, I thought I had a pretty good chance given the other filly was off a layoff. She really motored home the right way. She's a horse we've always thought a lot of but unfortunately missed most of her 3-year-old year with an injury, but she's back doing good and my team has done a great job to bring her back.”Of winning four races on the card, Brown added: “It's been another great afternoon. We had a nice weekend last week as well. They're really firing on all cylinders, I'm very pleased with it. Everyone is working together well.”Pedigree Note:With the day's success, Tiz the Law jumped from four to six graded stakes winners Saturday from two crops to race. Fully Subscribed, a $35,000 Keeneland September yearling turned $300,000 OBS April 2-year-old for Klaravich Stable, is the first to race and win out of a Candy Ride (Arg) daughter of GISW Rutherienne (Pulpit). That mare had a full-sister, GSW Ruthenia, who would go on to produce a pair of stakes winners in Our Bay B Ruth (Candy Ride {Arg}) and Pubilius Syrus (Candy Ride {Arg}). First dam Sweetbaby, who initially RNA'd as a yearling herself for $650,000 back in 2014, last passed through the ring for just $22,000 to Rusty Roberts in foal to Union Rags at KEENOV in 2022. Her subsequent offspring include that now 2-year-old filly, a yearling Highly Motivated filly purchased for $40,000 by Jose d'Angelo at FTOCT last month and a weanling full-brother to Fully Subscribed. She visited Maxfield for the 2026 season.  FULLY SUBSCRIBED ($9.00) fires under @DavisJockey to win the $300,000 Mother Goose Stakes (G2) earning a fourth win on the Aqueduct card for Chad Brown and Klaravich Stables.
