Wendy's - Where's the Beef? Wendy's Company (The)BATS:WENMaximiliannedIn the first nine months of this year, Wendy’s said its US same-store sales, or sales at locations open at least a year, fell 4% compared to the same period last year. Wendy’s revenue fell 2% to $1.63 billion in the same period, while its net income fell 6% to $138.6 million. Company has P/E of 9 and a 6.33 Dividend. Has about 6000 stores, between 2024, and 2026 about 550 are to shuttered. This isn't just Wendys, it McDonalds, Chipolte, CAVA and frankly alot of the fast food, fast casual restaurants. In 2010 the dividend was 1.32% and today its over 6%. I wouldn't rush to buy it - but as long as we hold this point of control -the downside is limited. Dumping money losing stores will likely help the bottom line. 50% retracement would take us to $18.00 - Don't think we get there quickly but you will paid for your time. Food for thought.
