The actor’s family issued a statement that the actor will continue his recovery at home. Now, in a new interview, his wife Hema Malini has said that Dharmendra’s kids are “sleepless” but they are relieved that he is out of the hospital.In a chat with Subhash K Jha, as quoted by The Times of India, Hema said, “It has not been an easy time for me. Dharamji’s health is a matter of great concern for us. His children are sleepless. I can’t afford to be weak, too many responsibilities. But yes, I am happy he’s back home. We are relieved he is out of hospital. He needs to be among the people he loves. Baki toh sab upar wale ke haath mein hai (Everything else is in the hands of the Almighty). Please pray for us.”Previously, Dr Pratit Samdani, one of the doctors from Breach Candy Hospital, who has been taking care of the actor told PTI, “Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7:30 am. Prem’s son-in-law, Vikas Bhalla spoke to TOI and shared that Prem was worried for Dharmendra. He shared that Prem was undergoing a few routine check-ups and was doing perfectly well. He shared that Prem was admitted for regular medical tests and a minor infection. The actor’s tests have been completed, and fortunately, all the reports were normal. Vikas shared, “When I visited him this morning, he was completely fine and cheerful, but, he was concerned about Dharmendra ji’s health.”Dharmendra’s Sholay co-star Amitabh Bachchan, who has also worked with him in Chupke Chupke (1975) and Ram Balram (1980), was seen driving himself in a car to meet his friend.
