Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Director N. Satyanarayana Raju urged children to live in sync with the nature and celebrate the relationship based on a healthy and mutual dependence. On the occasion of Children’s Day marked at Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya on Friday (November 14, 2025), Mr. Raju quoting Pandit Nehru called the children the ‘future of India’ and appealed to them to imbibe values and ethics to strive for the prosperity of the nation.At an interactive session, a lecture on “practical mathematics in real life application” was delivered by professors Siva Shankar Sastry and P. Satyanarayana Sarma, renowned mathematicians from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. The event was part of a science outreach programme, held in association with TACT Academy Trust.Meanwhile, P. Neelakanta Sivacharya, a professor from Sri Venkateswara Vedic University (SVVU), Tirupati, delivered a spiritual lecture on the importance of Kartheeka month for the deities Lord Vishnu as well as Lord Shiva and the need to sow pious thoughts in the young minds to turn them into noble citizens.
