In the 2025 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Kedar Nath Singh of the BJP, Shravan Kumar of the Jan Suraaj Party, Chandni Devi of the RJD, Pushpa Kumari of the Janshakti Janta Dal and others.In the last Assembly elections, the RJD’s Kedar Nath Singh won by a margin of 27789 votes. The VSIP’s Virendra Kumar Ojha was the runner up securing 37405 votes.Bihar witnessed a voter turnout of 57.3% this year, slightly higher than in 2020.
