British Airways which is celebrating 20 years of flight service between Bengaluru and London operated a special anniversary flight from London Heathrow to Bengaluru, served entirely by Indian cabin crew.The airline said that the special flight touched down early on Friday morning, which paid tribute to the airline’s enduring relationship with India and its commitment to delivering personalised service that resonates with the diverse communities it serves.Bengaluru membersAmong the crew were Bengaluru-based team members who also celebrated 20 years of service with the airline.“Being part of British Airways for the past 20 years has been an incredible journey and seeing our Bengaluru route grow from its very first flight to what it is today fills me with great pride. Celebrating this milestone feels personal, it is not just about the flights, it is about the connections we have helped create between India and the U.K.,” said British Airways’ global cabin crew team leader, George Muthalaly.Daily flightsSince launching flights to Bengaluru in 2005, British Airways now operates daily flights from Kempegowda International Airport to London Heathrow, offering seamless access to the airline’s hub and more than 190 onward destinations across 65 countries worldwide.To celebrate the occasion, the airline has today launched a flash sale for customers booking flights between Bengaluru and London Heathrow.
