(File photo)The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday detained a preacher from Haryana’s Mewat region for his alleged links to a ‘white-collar’ terror network operating out of a university in Faridabad, reported news agency PTI.Identified as Maulvi Ishtiyaq, the preacher has been taken to Srinagar for questioning. He had been residing in a rented accommodation within the Al Falah University campus in Faridabad, where investigators earlier seized over 2,500 kilograms of ammonium nitrate, potassium chlorate, and sulphur, according to officials.Police sources said Ishtiyaq is expected to be formally arrested soon. He would become the ninth individual apprehended in connection with the case following a series of coordinated raids conducted on November 10 across Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. The investigation has so far revealed a sophisticated ‘white-collar’ terror network with links to banned outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. The explosives recovered from Ishtiyaq’s residence were allegedly stored there by Dr Muzammil Ganaie, alias Musaib, and Dr Umar Nabi — the latter being the driver of the explosives-laden vehicle that went off near Delhi’s Red Fort on Monday evening, killing 13 people.Find all the real-time updates on the investigation into the Delhi Red Fort blast here.Stay updated with the latest - Click here to follow us on InstagramTags:Jaish-e-MohammedJammu and Kashmir
