As a result, veganism has gained significant momentum. And now, even Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan appears to have been taken aback after learning what veganism truly entails. In the now-viral clip, Sharma tells Bachchan about his seven-year vegan journey. Curious, Bachchan asks, “So you don’t use anything that comes from an animal?”Sharma explains, “I feel just like we want to live, they also want to live. I don’t take anything that comes from an animal. Milk is made for the calf only… no species can stay constantly pregnant their whole lifetime, they are artificially inseminated. I don’t find it ethical.”His words leave a clear impression. A visibly unsettled Bachchan responds, “Jaa kar ke aaj pareshaan honga main” (I will go home today and feel troubled about this). He adds, “You have opened my eyes.”The moment was shared online by vegan creator Farah Amber and has already racked up nearly a million views.Watch the video: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Farah Amber (@farahamberr)Also Read | 91-year-old Singapore man working 12-hour shifts moves the Internet; R Madhavan shares viral video: ‘Just keep going’Viewers praised the exchange, with one user saying, “It’s so refreshing to see the audience clapping at the truth, rather than getting annoyed by it!”Another remarked, “It’s wonderful to see such a legend open to having his perspective changed… I hope his followers are as open as he is.”A third commented, “Once you know the truth, there’s no going back.
