It supports internet connectivity for over-the-cloud operations, but it prioritises local connections faster for swift smart home commands and more reliable automations. It has a wall-mount option as well for a more flexible setup. It is a Thread Border Router and can merge into an existing Thread network or allow other networks to merge into the network it created. And you can make those adjustments via the SmartThings app.The Smart Home Hub 2 features adaptive climate control based on presence detection. It also features energy monitoring and optimization for devices that consume a lot of power, such as ACs, microwaves, and washing machines. It supports air quality monitoring, leak detection, and smoke detection. The post Samsung’s new SmartThings Home Hub with Matter is now available in the US appeared first on SamMobile.
