Arsenal have been urged to lower their transfer demands for Fabio Vieira, with reports suggesting that one of the interested clubs is prepared to walk away if the price is not reduced. The arrival of Viktor Gyökeres signalled the end of a busy transfer flurry for Arsenal in July, during which six players were officially unveiled. The Swede was the most high-profile signing, with Arsenal spending close to £200 million so far this summer. While they are still expected to dip back into the market, player sales are considered essential before any more arrivals can be finalised.Stuttgart prepared to walk awayA player heavily linked with a departure is Vieira, with West Ham and Stuttgart among those monitoring his situation. However, Stuttgart are reportedly ready to end negotiations if Arsenal do not lower their demands.According to The Sun, Arsenal are holding out for £25 million in order to recoup as much of their initial investment as possible, while Stuttgart are only willing to pay around £17 million plus add-ons. The report adds that the German side could walk away if no compromise is reached, which would cause talks to collapse. This comes after the Portuguese midfielder was left out of Arsenal’s opening-day squad against Manchester United.
