Each was asked to pay 10 percent or $2,500 out-of-pocket.Vernon’s defense attorney, Clyde Bennett II, successfully argued that his client was being overcharged and that the events of that night had been mischaracterized.“Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the United States Capitol. That’s a riot. When you get together, you assemble and you plan to commit a crime, that’s not what happened down on Fourth Street, judge,” Bennett argued. The move is even more infuriating when one considers the fact that both Vernon and Devaughn have been charged with three counts of alleged felonious assault, three counts of assault, and two counts of aggravated rioting. These two were ACTIVE participants in the beatdown, not some bystanders. Yet now they are back on the streets. The Cincinnati Police Department is also asking the public for help locating an eighth suspect. The department gave no details regarding his culpability in the vicious attack. The Gateway Pundit reported that a group of black individuals back on July 26 smacked around a bald white guy at the intersection of West Fourth Street and Elm Street in downtown Cincy and beat him so bad that he could not get up.Then, a white woman got slugged by one of the cowards. Her head slammed down onto the concrete, and she lost consciousness.Blood was also seen coming out of her mouth.Seven people have been arrested in the attack so far. One was out on bail from previous charges. The post Outrageous!
