(AP Photo)The US State Department has announced that it is halting all visitor visas for the people from Gaza, who utilised it reportedly for medical trips as the agency said it would review the process and procedures used to issue the temporary medical-humanitarian visas.The announcement by the State Department on Saturday in a post on X has drawn criticism from a few Palestinian rights groups. The group brought the rescued children to Europe, South Africa, and the US for care.The war between Israel and Gaza based Hamas militant group began in October 2023 after Hamas’ surprise attack on Tel Aviv. In retaliation, Israel has killed more than 61,000 Palestinians, according to Hamas-run Gaza health ministry.
