Kader Khan, in 81 years of his life, dedicated about 47 years to cinema. During this time, he wrote dialogues for about 200 films, and was also a renowned actor. In a recent interview, his co-star Tiku Talsania recalled the time when a producer begged Kader Khan to complete his film, but his reply left him speechless.In a conversation with Friday Talkies, the actor recounted an incident from the sets of Umar 55 Ki Dil Bachpan Ka and said, “It used to be a lot of fun to sit with (Kader) Khan. He was very good with his punch lines. He was extremely talented.” He added, “Once, a producer was sitting near his feet and was literally begging him to complete his film. I found this entire situation a little odd, so I thought of going away. The dubbing is still incomplete. If you won’t complete it, main footpath pe aajaunga (I’ll be on the streets).’ Khan sahab quickly said, ‘Tu itna h***mi hai, footpath bechkar bhi kha jayega. (You are so vicious that you might even end up selling the footpath.)'” He laughed as he said, “He could speak very impactful lines.”Kader Khan entered the Hindi cinema in his early 30s before which he used to write plays and act in them. He was a professor in civil engineering and would teach applied mathematics and mechanics to students. It was during one of his plays when actor Dilip Kumar spotted him and signed him in his films.
