After paying homage to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at the airport, a bike rally will be held, after which the sword will be carried on a decorated chariot and taken to the PL Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy.Later on Monday evening, the Departments of Cultural Affairs, Archaeology and Museums, and the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, along with PL Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy, will organise the ‘Sena Saheb Subha Parakram Darshan’ ceremony.ALSO READ | A sword returns, a legacy revived: Why Raghuji Bhonsle’s weapon matters?The program will be attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, among others. Shrimant Mudhoji Raje Bhonsle, descendant of Shrimant Raje Raghuji Bhonsle, will also grace the occasion.“An exhibition showcasing the sword along with insights into 12 heritage forts of Maharashtra will be held from August 19 to August 25, 2025, between 11 am and 7 pm at the Art Gallery of PL Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy, Prabhadevi, Mumbai.
